- 2 min read

This simple breakfast is packed with healthy fats, fibre, antioxidants, and natural protein to support hormone balance, stable energy, and a healthy brain. It's one of my favourite breakfasts because it's quick, delicious, and keeps you feeling satisfied for hours.
Serves 1
Ingredients
200g full-fat Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp chopped walnuts
Handful of blueberries
Handful of raspberries
1 tsp cinnamon
Method
Spoon the Greek yoghurt into a bowl.
Top with the flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and walnuts.
Add the blueberries and raspberries.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy.
You could also add gluten free oats and chia seeds that have been soaked in plant milk over night.
Why This Supports Hormones
Greek yoghurt provides protein, calcium, and beneficial bacteria that can support gut health.
Flaxseeds contain lignans and fibre which help support healthy oestrogen metabolism and elimination.
Pumpkin seeds are rich in zinc and magnesium, both important for hormone production and nervous system function.
Sunflower seeds provide vitamin E, selenium, and healthy fats which support hormonal health.
Walnuts are a source of omega-3 fats which help support the brain, mood, and healthy inflammatory responses.
Berries are rich in antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress and support healthy ageing.
Cinnamon can help support blood sugar balance, which is one of the foundations of healthy hormone function.
Sara's Hidden Health Tip
One of the most powerful things you can do for your hormones is to start the day with a protein-rich breakfast rather than cereal, toast, or pastries. Stable blood sugar helps support energy, mood, cravings, sleep, and hormone balance throughout the day.
