Green Juice Hormone Support

  • 1 min read

Providing the body with the nutrients it needs can help support the organs responsible for processing and eliminating waste products, including hormones.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber

  • 2 celery sticks

  • 1 green apple

  • Handful of spinach

  • Handful of parsley

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • Small piece of fresh ginger

Method

  1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly.

  2. Pass through a juicer.

  3. Stir and serve immediately.

  4. Enjoy chilled.

Why This Juice Can Be Beneficial

Cucumber provides hydration and contains plant compounds that contribute to overall health.

Celery contains potassium and antioxidants which support healthy cellular function.

Spinach is rich in folate, magnesium, and other nutrients involved in energy production and normal metabolic processes.

Parsley contains vitamin C and plant compounds that support overall wellbeing.

Lemon provides vitamin C, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Ginger has traditionally been used to support digestion and may help promote digestive comfort.

Why Supporting the Liver Matters for Hormone Health

The liver plays an important role in processing hormones and preparing them for elimination. Alongside adequate protein, fibre, hydration, movement, and a nutrient-rich diet, foods such as leafy greens, herbs, and colourful vegetables can contribute to the nutrients needed for these normal processes.

Many women find that when they focus on supporting digestion, blood sugar balance, sleep, stress management, and nutrient intake, they feel more energised and resilient overall.

Health Tip

Try enjoying this juice alongside a protein-rich breakfast rather than on its own. Combining vegetables with protein and healthy fats can help keep you fuller for longer and support more stable energy levels throughout the morning.
